Although I specialize in seeing children, adolescents, parents, and families, I also see college students and some adults struggling with life transitions, trauma, or grief.
Online therapy can be a wonderful supplement to in-person therapy. While I do provide virtual therapy to clients I see in the office, I do not offer counseling to individuals across state lines unless they see me 1-2x per month. Ethically, legally, and psychologically, I use virtual therapy as a supplement to in-person therapy for a short period of time (such as going off to college, staying with someone in another state, etc). .
